Meet Dr. Paymon A. Dorri, DDS
Hi, I’m Dr. Paymon Dorri, DDS and I am honored to welcome you to Dorri Dental in Battle Creek. As someone who believes deeply in service, integrity, and patient-centered care, I’m proud to lead a team that shares these values—originally cultivated by Dr. Robin Steely and was carried forward with impeccable dedication for over 42 years. I am grateful to have found a dental team that perfectly aligns with my philosophy and dental beliefs.

Professional Background & Memberships
I graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2015 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. In continuation to serve my patients with the highest level of care in their dental and overall health, I continue to improve upon and acquire new skills and training in many fields, including holistic and biological dentistry, treatment of TMJ disorders, orthodontics, esthetic dentistry, and general dentistry. I have also gained valuable training and experience in implant dentistry.
I have been honored to receive recognition for this dedication through my election to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, the Francis B. Vedder Society for the Advancement of Crown and Bridge Prosthodontics, and my membership in the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT).
Personal Background & Interests
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where my lovely wife, Shiva, and I lived before moving to Michigan to pursue my education and training in dentistry. We have 3 beautiful daughters that bring us immeasurable joy. Over time, our appreciation for the Midwest grew and we are increasingly drawn to its culture, warmth, and strong sense of community. The years spent in dental school and beyond deepened our connection to this incredible state—its four seasons, welcoming people, and vibrant communities. I have been fortunate to serve many communities across Michigan, from working with a nonprofit dental organization to provide care for underserved populations to building lasting relationships with the families. My passion for dentistry extends beyond the chair—it is about giving back and strengthening communities.
